Exploring California Wine Country
All inclusive wine tours of California
Wine Parties by Design organizes 5-7 day wine tours of California’s beautiful wine regions, each with exceptional wines. Enjoy the ambiance of the wineries and depending on your tour, the ocean, a visit to a creamery, the redwoods, a tour of Hearst Castle and a tour of the town. You fly into Los Angeles or San Francisco and visit 2-3 wineries each day.
You will have some free time for shopping or a breather. The price of each tour covers all aspects of your tour: transportation, winery fees, meals, wines with dinner, and planned attractions. Airfare is not included because many of our clients prefer to use their frequent flyer miles.
Our tentative tour schedule for 2021 (depending on COVID status):
May 22 – 28 (6 ½ days): Napa/ Sonoma (San Francisco International Airport)
May 29 – June 5 (7 ½ days): Paso Robles (San Francisco International Airport)
Fall 2021: Santa Barbara (tentative)
We will publish the descriptive itineraries and prices for these tours in early 2021.
Prices vary, depending on your single or double occupancy lodging preferences.

Our last tour was Santa Barbara’s Wine Country in May 18 – 25, 2019: 6 ½ days, total 8
days with travel, Saturday to Saturday.
The tour's highlights:
The tour was taken by nine clients (the maximum number of clients on any one trip is 11).
Our itinerary was full of interactions:
We began our tour with lunch in an ocean pier restaurant on our trip to the wine country from LAX.
We visited 14 wineries, both large and small, and 4 tasting rooms, 18 in all. Roughly 100 wines were tasted by our tour party.
We had a number of amazing culinary experiences. A mission tour and a trip to the beach were part of our half-day of relief.
For the entire trip, we stayed in just one lodging facility.

“What a fabulous trip! The wineries and experiences were unforgettable! Thanks to our fearless tour leaders, we were able to personally blend our own wines, see firsthand how cheese is made, tour beautiful vineyards, and hear the history of the vineyard directly from the owners. The restaurants were top-notch and beautifully complemented the local wines.”
“I can't say enough good things about the Napa/Sonoma tour.... each and every winery was a unique, splendid experience and each and every restaurant was a culinary delight with a flavor and style of its own.I don't think I would change anything. Jean and I both agreed that it was a totally stress-free vacation. You and Dave did a great job taking care of us!”
